Godolphin’s Bold Act (IRE) came out of his victory in Friday’s Sycamore (G3) in good order, according to traveling lad Chris Connett.
“He is looking well this morning,” Connett said as he walked Bold Act behind Barn 11 on Saturday morning. “He did well when he got out and had room to run.”
Under Jamie Spencer, Bold Act received a ground-saving trip through the 1½-mile race on the turf and in the stretch found a seam between horses at the eighth pole for clear running that earned him a three-quarters of a length victory.
Connett said Bold Act, who is trained by Charlie Appleby, would possibly head to Dubai with the Dubai Sheema Classic (G1) at 1½ miles on turf in March at Meydan being a possible target.
